Who are we looking for?

This exciting career opportunity is open to substantive Chief Inspectors / Detective Chief Inspectors with a proven track record of effective delivery.

To be eligible to apply for this process, you must

  • Be a current substantive Chief Inspector or Detective Chief Inspector;
  • Have an overall competent or exceptional PDR rating for the last performance year;
  • Meet the MPS attendance management criteria;
  • Be free of any bar to promotion as a result of discipline outcomes;
  • Currently be serving in a Home Office force, or BTP
  • All mandatory training to be up to date.

All expressions of interest must be submitted by 23.55 hours on Friday 22nd July 2022. There is no competency based application form for this process.
