Job Title: Leadership Strategy Advisor

Salary: £28,163 to £30,333 plus £2,623 location allowance. You will receive £28,163 the band minimum. Progress to the band maximum of £30,333 will be via incremental progression.

Location: West Brompton

Working in the Met’s new Leadership Centre of Excellence, the role holder will be responsible for executing leadership development interventions across the organisation, enabling leaders to lead a diverse and transforming workforce to ultimately keep London safe for everyone.

This role will support the execution of leadership development interventions, including establishing development requirements, supporting in the design of interventions, managing the successful delivery of those interventions and then evaluating them to support continuous improvement. The role will also be the point of contact for the leadership development faculty, keeping them engaged and performing in their faculty role.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

Knowledge and Experience

  • Either experience in HR (e.g. Learning and Development / recruitment / training) OR a Masters degree in psychology
  • Experience working across HR preferable – with an understanding of people processes such as performance, talent and recruitment
  • Experience in learning and development, including understanding how to link learning needs to development offers
  • Project management and/or coordination of events
  • Facilitating training
  • Analysing and interpreting data to provide recommendations
  • Identifying, managing and escalating risks
  • Driving change, including coming up with innovative approaches and challenging current practices to establish the best possible solutions

Skills

  • Collecting and analysing quantitative and qualitative data
  • Exceptional time management and organisation skills
  • Proven oral and written communication skills that can adapt to different audiences
  • Managing and influencing senior stakeholders
  • Collaborating with other teams and/or organisations
