Job Title: Transformation, Systems and Digital Lead

Salary: £64,969 to £75,479 plus a location allowance of either £2,623 or £1,518 depending on where you are based. You will receive £64,969 the band minimum. Progress to the band maximum of £75,479 will be via incremental progression.

Our Human Resources department is look for someone to champion and implement an effective PMO and programme delivery, supporting the vision to implement an industry leading HR function within the Metropolitan Police Service.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the successful delivery of all HR change projects and programmes, providing senior project manager oversight and managing the related change impacts and working closely with senior stakeholders to create and deliver HR’s Digital Strategy.

Acting as the centre of transformation and project management expertise for the HR function; you will be supporting the programmes and projects within the portfolio to deliver change to optimise the realisation of benefits and meet the strategic objectives through effective programme and project management guidance and best practice principles.

The role holder will ensure HR activities can be delivered with maximum benefit and are aligned to the Met’s wider strategy. To do this the ideal candidate will have experience of senior leadership within a complex change portfolio function.

The Transformation & Digital Lead drives HR change programmes across the HR function and also drives HR’s digital agenda. The split in the role is approximately: 75% change & transformation – 25% digital.

  • Experience of creating and managing commercial relationships with suppliers in a complex supply chain, assuring quality and delivering value for money
  • Experience of building and leading project and programme delivery teams in a large and complex organisations
