If you’re an organised IT graduate, this could be your chance to take on varied and vital work.

The Role

Used to supporting large, complex IT projects, you’ll have a good grasp of the full IT project lifecycle. The Counter Terrorism Policing HQ (CTPHQ) ICT section manages, delivers and supports all ICT requirements. The section has responsibility to manage full ‘cradle to grave’ delivery of all MPS Specialist Operations (SO) and CTP ICT requirements.

CTPHQ ICT comprises 6 key ICT sections to ensure all SO and National CT ICT requirements are delivered and transitioned into support, these include: ICT Demand and Strategy: ICT Data Standards; ICT Architectural and Security Design; Portfolio and Project Delivery; Change and Transition; and ICT Support Services.

This Technology Support Officer role demands ideally an IT Graduate with knowledge of ICT in supporting and assisting large, complex National IT project, programmes and systems throughout their lifecycle, as well as having an awareness of the unique demands and specific challenges of working within the secure domain; the role holder must be eligible for DV (STRAP) vetting clearance.
