Transfer to the Metropolitan Police Service

Starting salary:   

Same pay point, pension and holiday. You will also receive £2,886 London Weighting, £1,011 London Allowance 1 and either £4,327 London Allowance 2 or your current rate of Rent/Housing Allowance.

  • Counter Terrorism Policing, National Headquarters (CTPHQ)
  • Mounted Branch(PC)
  • National Firearms Instructor (PC)
  • Covert Policing – Technical Surveillance Unit
  • Sexual Offences Investigation Team (SOIT)
